Pysanka - a traditional form of folk art is a celebration of life, a symbol of rebirth and the beginning of a new period.
I have been painting pysanky since I was 7 years old.
For the past 15 years, I have been engaged in pysankarstvo as one of the formats of individual artistic activity.
My pysanky are created using the classic wax-resist technique and pen with the use of vinegar etching.
Every year, this tradition engulfs me for several weeks. Working with the idea of reinterpreting tradition, my focus is directed towards individual creativity. However, I have never wanted to go against tradition. Experiments with color and composition are based on the experience and direct contact with folk art. The main idea for me is the development and interpretation of forms based on the traditional ones.

In my work, I approach pysankarstvo as a process of continuity of life and tradition as part of national and cultural self-identification.
This is a personal project that lasts for years and despite any life challenges of both personal and global nature.
